Tellurium is produced by electrolytic slime processing. Its quality conforms to Russian Standard – TY 1769-009-44577806-2002.
Chemical composition, %
Application:
Tellurium is used for production of thermojunctions, photocells, thermocouples to measure low temperature, as an admixture to pig iron, steel, non-ferrous metals alloys; for glass production. Tellurium compounds (tellurides) are widely used as semiconducting materials.
Dimensions:
Weight of one ingot is about 4-4.5 kilos. The ingot has shape of truncated cone. Diameter of bottom is about 140 mm, diameter of top is about 98 mm, and height is about 70 mm. Packing:
ingots are packed in hermetically sealed polyethylene bags and then in wooden boxes (8 ingots in one box), which are packed into metal box (32 wooden boxes in one metal box with gross weight about 2 mt, net weight is about 1.5 mt).
