RF Chamber of Commerce and Industry congradulates MMC Norilsk Nickel on the company's 75th anniversary

Moscow, July 7, 2010 – The President of Russia’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry Evgeny Primakov congratulated MMC Norilsk Nickel ("MMC Norilsk Nickel" or "the Company") on its 75th Anniversary. It is 75 years ago that the Mining and Metallurgy Combine after A.Zavenyagin was established in Norilsk.

According to the President of CCI RF, "built in the severe conditions of Russia’s Far North, the Norilsk combine became one of the country’s leading mining and metallurgy companies, achieved recognition and flawless business reputation both among neighbor and overseas countries. The whole history of the combine is the result of self-sacrificing endeavor of many generations of Norilsk people”.

Mr. Primakov emphasized that the Anniversary of MMC Norilsk Nickel, which joined the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in June 2010, is an important event for the whole industry.
