Nornickel is ranked by HeadHunter as a leading employer. The high score is the result of the Company’s efforts to create one of the strongest teams in the industry.
The Russian Employer Rankings is HeadHunter’s annual project, whose results were published by the RBC Daily today. It is the country’s largest and most authoritative contest, involving companies from all industries and regions. In 2016, 233 companies competed to win the contest. Absent in the rankings last year, Nornickel took fifth place.
The ranking procedure evaluated employers in three areas: candidate opinions; employee opinions; expert opinions about the efficiency of HR departments. Three independent evaluations were added together to determine the final ranking of the Company.
According to HeadHunter, the first rankings are traditionally retained by industry leaders that have a high-quality HR management system.
“Our goal is to create one of the strongest teams in the industry, a team of team of like-minded professionals.” said Darya Kryachkova, Director of Nornickel’s HR Department. “We select people with potential, give them the best business tools, and use advanced HR practices to evaluate, develop and promote employees. For professionals, it is an opportunity to broaden their knowledge and gain clear prospects for growth. And beginners can immediately start work for one of the best companies in the industry.”
